Samsung i9070 phone flash files and flashing guide
This process was made to Help you Update your Samsung I9070 Galaxy S
Advance and show you how to do it by using Original USB cable and Original Firmware
package, So read the steps first and try to understand it one by one before you take any action to
stay on the safe side.

First at all
· Make sure u installed all required driver
· Your phone battery charge at list 70% or above
· You backup all your files contacts sms and
documents
How to flash
1. Run Odin flasher and make sure that Re-Partition option is not
checked.
2. Check these Two options: Auto Reboot,
F.Reset Time.
3. From the Flash Package select proper flash
file
What is in flash package
- Samsung I9070 Galaxy S Advance
Firmware Package: the main OS files, Could be one file package or more.
- Original Odin Flasher ( I9070 ): the Original downloader that can update your phone with Firmware files.
- USB Drivers: Download and install them then reboot your PC.
- Original Odin Flasher ( I9070 ): the Original downloader that can update your phone with Firmware files.
- USB Drivers: Download and install them then reboot your PC.
Flash method 1 when one file flash package
1. Select proper pit file 8gb or 16 gb
2. Insert one package flash in “pda” option
As example
PDA: I9070XXLD1_I9070XXLD1_I9070OXFLC2_HOME.tar.md5
PDA: I9070XXLD1_I9070XXLD1_I9070OXFLC2_HOME.tar.md5
Now prepare your phone to flash
put the phone into Download Mode:
Volume Down + Home + Power, Then press
Volume Up.
- Connect USB cable to Phone and PC and make sure USB drivers are installed.
- When the Odin program detect the Com number of the Phone that mean all is OK.
- Click Start button and do not touch the phone till it is rebooted by the Odin program.
- Disconnect the phone and wait till it is fully on.
- After you did all the start Up settings you had better do full reset
- Connect USB cable to Phone and PC and make sure USB drivers are installed.
- When the Odin program detect the Com number of the Phone that mean all is OK.
- Click Start button and do not touch the phone till it is rebooted by the Odin program.
- Disconnect the phone and wait till it is fully on.
- After you did all the start Up settings you had better do full reset
Flash method 2 when All file flash package
Run Odin flasher and make sure to check these options: Re-Partition, Auto
Reboot, F.Reset Time.
From the Firmware Package you can select:
PIT: GT-I9070_xx....pit
PDA: CODE_GT-I9070xxxxx.....tar.md5
CSC: CSC_GT-I9070xxxxx......tar.md5
Now put the phone into Download Mode: Volume Down + Home + Power, Then press Volume Up.
Connect USB cable to Phone and PC and make sure USB drivers are installed.
When the Odin program detect the Com number of the Phone that mean all is OK.
Click Start button and do not touch the phone till it is rebooted by the Odin program.
Disconnect the phone and wait till it is fully on.
